The mango is a food source in Mope.io that appears in the Desert. It was added on April 27, 2019.
Technical
- Mangoes spawn in the Desert, often near and around Venus Flytraps.
- It can be eaten by all animals within the range of tier 4 to tier 17 (Armadillo to Black Dragon).
- The mango has no health; it can be eaten in a single hit just by touching it.
- When eaten, the mango will add water to the player's water bar.
- It also can give 300 to 1.1K XP, depending on with tier the player is.
Appearance
The mango is an oval shaped food made up of orange-yellow flesh, and a large green leaf.
Strategy
- As a lower tier animal (i.e. Armadillo to Warthog), the player should eat mangoes to level up faster, as they provide valuable amounts of XP.
- Be aware of Venus Flytraps when trying to eat mangoes, as they can damage the player and cause them to sweat, which is the perfect opportunity for a predator to ambush the player.
- Ideally go for mangoes that are away from Flytraps, and out of harm's way. However, if the player has enough XP that they can upgrade by eating one more mango or so, they can take the risk and eat near the Flytrap.
- As the player progresses higher and higher above the food chain, mangoes become a trivial food. However, they can still be eaten to regain water if no water spots are close by.
